Christopher Vickery Obituary

Christopher A. Vickery passed away peacefully on March 25th 2024 at the age of 58 surrounded by his family. Chris was born in January 1966 in Macon, Georgia. He met the love of his life, Tammy L. Vickery in June of 1992. Chris and Tammy moved to Moses Lake, Washington with their young family in 1993, marrying in june of 1995.
During his life here in Moses Lake Chris owned several businesses of his own. There isn't an area of Grant County that hasn't been touched by Chris and his master homebuilding skills. Chris took his craft seriously. He taught many construction colleagues his art of framing but teaching his sons was the best teaching job of his life. Watching his son's grow in the craft that he loved brought him great joy. Chris was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed gathering with friends, shooting his guns, hunting and camping trips. But most of all, Chris loved his family. He will not only be dearly missed by his family and friends but, by the community as a whole here in Moses Lake.

Christopher is survived by his loving wife, Tammy L. Vickery, Moses lake. His son's Christopher (Desirae Bevans) Vickery, Moses Lake. Austin (Hannah) Vickery, Moses Lake. Jonathan Eakin, Moses Lake. Jake (Marissa) Eakin, Greenville, South Carolina. His grandchildren, Zechariah, Amiyah Hudson, Stiles, Elizabeth and Evangeline, His older brother Steven (Barbara) Booth, Moses Lake. His younger sister, Tammy A. Vickery and his mother, Patricia Hoke, both in Georgia.

Chris may be gone from our sight but his lasting legacy of loyalty and love lives on. Chris and Tammy were a great example in life and love for their friends and family. That example will continue on with the beautiful family that they've built.

A celebration of life will be held in the coming weeks and will be announced.
