Gladys R. Stephens passed away August 10, 2018. She was born in Hebron, North Dakota on June 10, 1931 to Frederick and Emma Maas. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland, Oregon. She married Herbert William Stephens II on February 16, 1953. Together they raised six children: Jacqueline (Kent), Robin (James), William Blake, Tammie, Herbert William III, and Sean. She enjoyed ceramics, cake decorating, and had a passion for quilt making. She is survived by her husband Herbert, two daughters Jacqueline and Robin and two sons William Blake and Herbert William III, her brothers Melvin (Bonnie), Leonard, Bruce, Gene and her sisters Betty, Dee (Joe), Paula, and Cathy and her grandchildren Jaime, Kyle, Brittany, Steven, Janelle, Lindsey, and McKenzie and two great grandsons Ryder and Klayton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Tammie and a son Sean.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
