Juan Rocha

Juan Rocha passed away at home in his sleep. On December 12/2023. He was a resident of Moses Lake, Washington. He loved his family, friends and his dogs. He worked in the Agricultural Industry. Liked spanish music, camping, fishing and best of all hunting.

Juan Rocha was born October 17,1953. To Domingo and Felipe Rocha in Dilley, Texas. He was the oldest of their 5 children. The family moved to Moses Lake, Washington in 1964 where they remained. Juan was the big brother of the family.

Juan attended Moses Lake public school and quit school in the 9th grade to help his father support the family. He enjoyed football and wrestling. Lettered, plus earned a trophy and was Captain in his sports. He worked for Jenson and then Green Acres. They changed to Wilbur Allis, then to Simplot. As he got older he became an Applicator and a Fabricator. He liked to weld and make trailors.

In 1974 he married Judy Sanchez (they knew each other for 2 weeks and moved in together). They Got married and were together for 50 years.

They had their first son Juan Rocha Jr. in 1975 and second son Chano in 1979. Their family included 3 grandsons and one grand daughter. Tristan, Trynadii, Tyton, Chano Jr.

Juan was a very hard worker. He liked fishing, bird hunting, sandduning with friends and family, camping, welding and listening to spanish music.

He is survived by his wife Judy Rocha. Siblings: Martina Rocha (omar) Ricky Rocha (Kathy) Javier Rocha (Janie). Children: Juan Rocha Jr., Chano Ernesto Rocha (Krissy Umanoto). Three grandkids and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Domingo and Felipa Rocha. Brother Joe Rocha, grandson Chano Jr. Rocha and a few pets, especially dogs, Nala, Taz, Babe and Mei Mei.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 am. 1-05-2024 at the Restore City Church in Moses Lake, Washington 2227 W. Peninsula Dr.
