Marvin Ray Prentice

Marvin Ray Prentice passed away December 5, 2023 in Moses Lake, WA after a short and hard battle with cancer.  He was born in Gooding, Idaho December 31, 1954. Marvin is survived by his wife Linda Prentice,  sisters Sherry Price, Carol Surratt, Ginger Brumett and Madeline Prentice; daughter Jennifer and husband Dale Hauck, grandchildren Kody, Tyler, Monica, and Mya, great-granddaughter Ellie; daughter Rachel Prentice and husband Josh Frizzell, grandchildren Justin, Andrew, Bella, Christian; daughter Camry and husband Mark McMullan, granddaughter Ariadne Ray; son-in-law Sevren Lobe, grandchildren Sierra, Trina, and Ashlee; step-daughter Kristina Hunt, grandson Isaac-Ian; step-daughter Lisa Hunt and fiancĂ© Brent Thomas, grandchildren Kyson and Myia; step-son TJ Hunt, granddaughter Jaylah, step-son Levi Hunt and grandchild Oliver. He will also be dearly missed by a great many other extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Ray and Elsie Prentice, his brother Russell Prentice, and his step-daughter Teralyn Lobe. Marvin was a great father, husband, brother and friend. He was loved by all that met him. Marv loved all his kids and step-kids and was a big kid at heart. He loved spending his free time with his family and loved ones. Marv worked hard his entire life. He learned about diesel engines as a teenager, which led to his career as a diesel mechanic where he eventually working his way up to shop foreman at Zipp Trucking. Marv was a kind, compassionate person with a big heart. He was loved and cherished by those closest to him and he touched countless lives. On December 5th, Marvin Ray Prentice, beloved by so many, passed away at the age of 68. He will be missed greatly by his wife, children, family and friends.
