Joe Osborne, 85, of Moses Lake, Washington, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on August 17, 2025
Born on November 8, 1939, in Concrete, Washington, Joe proudly served two years in the United States Navy before building a long and respected career in road construction, Joe also grew quite the repsect and reputation when he opened his own gym in sedro wooley called Joe's Gym, Known for his hardworking nature and deep love for his family, Joe also had a unique appreciation for the past- spending countless hours collecting vintage signs and gas pumps. He especially enjoyed tinkering with his
collections with his son Jeff, building cars together and hitting the casinos, always finding projects that may or may not get finished but doing it with love and passion for the opportunity to bond together. He was a man of many trades and hobbies, a library of knowledge.
Above all, Joe found his greatest fulfillment in being a family man. He was instrumental in raising his grandsons, Gage and Mac, and found immeasurable joy in spoiling his great-grandson, Aiden. His legacy of love, guidance, and humor lives on through them.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Sheri Osborne; his sons Timothy Osborne, Thomas Osborne and Jeffrey Groves; and his many cherished
grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother and sister Art Osborne and Jean seigler and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Russell and Chester Osborne; his son, Terry Osborne; his beloved niece, Candy and nephew Bobby
Affectionately known as "Papa" by his grandchildren, Joe was an honorable man who stood for respect, honesty, and hard work. His mornings were often spent at McDonald's, sharing coffee and laughs with friends, before heading home to his wife and beloved dog sammie jo. Weekends with his great-grandson, aiden, were the highlight of his week, and his warm, witty spirit could brighten any room.
Joe leaves behind a legacy of dedication, love, and resilience. He was a devoted husband, an incredible father, a cherished grandfather, and a friend to many. His presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
