Jorge Negrete was born in Mexico City on April 8, 1949.
He had 5 children Juan, Lidia, Jorge Jr, Sandra, and Jazmin.
He came to the United States and met Carol. In 1996 they were married and he gained 6 additional children Regina, Ana, Reina, Lamar, Al Cessie, and Noah. In 28 years of marriage they never had disagreements. They were truly loving retirement and enjoyed being together all the time. Every Wednesday you could find them at the Quest casino.
Jorge was a simple man and never wanted anyone to make a fuss over him. He was a man that could take any job given to him and do it with excellence. He had many skills from brick laying, concrete, tile, flooring, painting, and landscaping.
He learned to bake when he was 10 years old. He was employed at Safeway his last 15 years as a baker before retiring.
He was always positive and thinking of others before himself. He was one to listen to others and give words of wisdom or encouragement. He loved to learn, loved his puppies, and read the Bible every night.
He passed away on January 4th, 2025. He would want us to come together as a family to be strong, not sad, he will never be forgotten.
Rosary will begin at 10am. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 on Wendsday January 8, 2025 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Luncheon following at Fatima Center.
