Marie Emma Woodward
October 8, 1940 – October 30, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Woodward on October 30, 2024, at
the age of 84. Marie was born October 8, 1940, in Hartford Connecticut. She was a long-time
resident of Moses Lake Washington but recently moved to Reardan Washington. Marie loved her
crafts and created many beloved creations for her family. She also sold them at local craft markets,
so that others could enjoy the beauty of her work. Marie enjoyed spending time volunteering at the
Moses Lake Senior Center and the local food bank in Reardan Washington.
Marie is survived by her children Tammy Smiley, Robert (Jackie) Woodard, Kelly (Philip) Lillengreen,
and Scott (Kim) Woodward. 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister Lenora Merritt and
brother Claude Frappier. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Woodward and
bothers John, Phil and Roger.
Marie was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
A private family graveside service will be held at Pioneer Memorial Gardens, Moses Lake
Washington.
