In Loving Memory of Michael Harr
Born February 26, 1966 – Passed July 19, 2025
With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Mike, who left us on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the age of 59. He was a cherished husband, dad, papa, brother, uncle, gruncle, friend, and co-worker — known for his strength, honesty, drive, and his ability to be a friend to all.
Born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, Mike grew up there before beginning a 17-year career with Walmart, which took him from Wyoming to Oregon and eventually to Washington State, where he met and married the love of his life. After leaving Walmart, Mike joined Tommer Construction, a local family business, where he worked for 10 years as a project and facility manager and formed lifelong bonds with the Tommer family. Later, he joined the Grant PUD family, serving as a facilities supervisor and eventually as a facilities asset specialist — roles in which he made a lasting impact and built strong relationships.
Outside of his professional life, Mike was well known for his vehicle restoration business, Harr’sCars, where he brought people’s visions to life. There wasn’t a project he shied away from, and his pride and countless hours of dedication went into every single build.
Mike was a man of few words but many actions. Whether building hot rods, remodeling the house, camping, attending car shows, watching hockey, spending time with family, or simply making people laugh, he was everyone’s go-to guy for solving the problem of the day. He will be remembered for his constant teaching moments and his big heart.
Mike is survived by his wife, Cindi; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Mackenzie; grandson, Warren; daughter, Harlie; and a very large, loving extended family. Plus, a huge community of friends.
We’ll gather to honor his life on Saturday, August 9th at 2:00 PM at Lake City Foursquare Church, 333 N Central Drive, Moses Lake, WA. 98837. All are welcome to join us in remembering the joy he brought into the world. As a tribute to Mike’s passion for cars, we invite anyone who would like to bring their classic or custom vehicle to join us for “Mike’s Final Car Show.” Your presence — and your wheels — would mean the world to us.
“He built more than cars; he built dreams and left a legacy on wheels — but his greatest accomplishment was the family and friends he loved, guided, and inspired every single day.”
