Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and
friend, Sheri Lee Fairbanks Woolley, 72, passed away peacefully on June
7, 2025, in Moses Lake, Washington. She was the middle daughter and a
twin, born on January 12, 1953, to Burt Davies Fairbanks and Lottie Mae
Sanders in Richmond, CA. She eventually met the love of her life Wayne
Griffin Woolley. Wayne and Sheri were married in the Oakland California
Temple on October 14, 1972. Together they raised four children: Sallie,
Bobbie, Dale, and Jerome in Fairfield, CA eventually moving to Lucerne
Valley, CA. Wayne and Sheri eventually retired and stayed in their home in
Lucerne Valley. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ
of Latter-day Saints. She had many callings in primary, young women’s,
relief society, and seminary.
Sheri was a breast cancer survivor, and she loved to help others in any
way she could. She had a lifelong love for art, crafting, sewing, painting and
quilting. Her greatest love was being with and around all her family,
especially her grandchildren and great-grandson. She loved all the
adventures and “Sunday” drives that Wayne would take her on.
She is survived by her daughter, Sallie (Ches) Edrington; and sons; Bobbie
(Kristina) Woolley; Dale (Ristyn) Woolley; and Jerome (Eleesha) Woolley; 5
grandchildren, Briant, Brittney, Amoz, Wayne, and Cameryn; and 1 great-
grandson, Brayden. Her sister Debora (Greg) Wong and many nieces and
nephews.
Sheri is preceded in death by her mother and father Burt and Lottie
Fairbanks. Her husband Wayne of 42 years and her twin sister Teri
(Jerome) Marek.
