Stephen Floyd Bruns
Born May 12, 1946 in Bellingham, WA. He was the second child of Floyd and Beatrice (Sue) Bruns. He graduated from Ferndale High School in 1965 and joined the Army soon after. He was still enlisted when he met Linda and they were married on July 6, 1969.
Upon leaving the military, he worked briefly with his father-in-law learning the drywall trade. Then he milked cows for several years and raised sheep. He had a real love of animals.
He returned to school, obtaining an AA in 1989 and started teaching at Big Bend Community College, and also got his license as "The Computer Tutor."
In October 1991, they settled in Moses Lake. Steve and Linda were married 55 years and blessed with four girls.
He had a deep love for God and his family. He also loved music and teaching. Could be a rascal with a twinkle in his eye and had a hug for everyone.
He passed peacefully at home in his sleep on September 3, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters Verna, Kelley (Stacey), Carolyn (Richard), and Laura; granddaughters Rebecca and Lelu; great grandchildren Cyberious, Kacey, Jade and Ariya, plus sisters Helen and Vicki.
